Liked this live music bar/micro pub.
Nice atmosphere on a Saturday night, with a traditional pub rock covers band on.
Two real ales on - Bristol Beer Factory Fortitude - first pint OK, second had to be sent back as complete murk. This was swapped for a Butcombe, which was soon pump clip reversed.
Still, you dont come to these places for the cask ale.

A recent opening in a former art gallery, this is a traditional looking, brick-built corner pub located in Clevedon’s High Street. It was very quiet when we visited on a late Friday afternoon, but then again, music is the main focus here as might be inferred from the name, with bands on almost every night, so presumably it livens up later on.
Internally it consists of a small room by the entranceway that is largely taken up by the bar counter, and beyond this it open up in to a good sized, high ceiling room with a stage area at the front. Flooring is mostly sanded wooden boards, with the paintwork on the walls being mostly maroon along with a deep blue on the ceiling. Elsewhere is some gold and blue patterned wallpaper and the overall appearance is very effective, there’s certainly nothing to suggest that it hasn’t always been a pub, unlike many shop conversions. A few strings of fairly lights were strung around, and these were supplemented my copper light fittings hanging from the ceiling and some tassel shaded standard lamps. A bookcase was in one corner housing a collection of books, as well as a few other odds and ends such as pewter jugs. A couple of guitars were hung on the wall in a nod to it’s musical theme, and there were also one or two pot plants scattered around. The stage area included a large grand piano, with other instruments presumably brought in by the bands in question.
Beers on tap were both from Bristol Beer Factory with their Delray Beach and Fortitude. The solitary cider meanwhile was Aston Press. Overall I was quite impressed with this, it had a decent, chilled out vibe, they’ve done a good job with the conversion and it’s certainly one of the better options in the immediate vicinity.
