This is a large ex Kimberley tied house now run by Greene King.
This pub knocked down several years ago and rebuilt on the same site where it now stands today inside the pub has one large open plan room with lots of different drinking areas,on the bar there was Kimberley Bitter which i tried and was ok but not as good as when Kimberley were brewing it and there was also Abbot and GK IPA the pub is quite smart and does food all day.
Not a bad place to have a few in or a meal.
PS I have heard Tesco want to buy this pub and pull it down for one of their developments so it is probably living on borrowed time.
