Old Boots left this review about The Regent
modenized into one wide room with a pool table at one end, traditional seating at the other
and the counter along the rear wall facing the door. Old mingles with new, there is old pine wainscotting and counter, a modern jazzy carpet and trendy light fittings. The wall behind the pool table is stone tiled and seats in this bit are leather tubs. At the far right is an archway leading into another sitting area where I noticed a sound system, there are a limited number, in Guiseley terms, of screens. On the bar two handpumps delivered Tetleys and Saltaire alongside the five lagers, a smooth and a cider. In spite of it being mid lunchtime session the place was almost deserted.
