Quite upmarket, compared to your average nearby Railway Station pubs. This is a good sized pub, with a good sized patio area at the rear which included a large covered shed that resembled a platform building, plus a few brightly painted beach huts.
Six ales on handpump, three from Thornbridge, two Wye Valley and TT Landlord.

Our last port of call before getting the train to the match. We were pushed for time in here and I didn't note the beer selection. All I can say is that the one I had was fine! Very handy for the station and I will call again - maybe leave myself a little more time!

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Station
Real ale pub with a good reputation, very handily located as the name would suggest, and one that I have been meaning to visit for ages (having walked past it numerous times en route to somewhere else...). Anyway, it retains a twin-bar layout, with the front one highly visible through the large windows. The rear bar has more of an alehouse look - although the music was at slightly more than background level - and there is a large patio beer garden at the back (illuminated at night, but certainly not the weather to try that out on my visit). Beer-wise, I was perhaps a bit unlucky because the four handpumps on the rear counter were being prepared for a Fownes Brewery takeover the following night, and one of the other four at the front - Holden's Golden Glow - had just gone off and was having its pipes cleaned (mildly annoying, but a good sign that quality is important here). That left the regular Landlord, Purity Pure Gold and Proper Job (£3.45).
