Situated right in the town centre. A good mixed regular crowd, home to eccentrics and grumpy old men.Very busy at weekends and on rugby days. Food served lunchtimes Mon-Sat, and always a guest real ale. Bar staff are young, attractive, good-humoured and completely mental. (By contrast, landlord is a grumpy old man!) Digital download jukebox. No pool table (it's too bleedin' small!) Fairly expensive by valley standards, (but not for Aberdare town centre.) Well worth the visit.
