Renamed The Pickled Pepper some years ago. A strange pub, smack in the town centre but quiet except for weekends. Tends to attract its fair share of idiots. Towards the upper end of the price range for Aberdare. No food, but tea & coffee available. MTV on all day on the TV screens, but different music on the PA. Live music on Friday nights. Big screen for football and rugby games. No jukebox, no pool table, No smiling allowed at the bar.
