Brewery Tap - open at 11:30am and filled with punters on a brewery tour by midday. A couple of pints of their Yorkshire Classic went down well. Visit Blogged at http://bit.ly/2qBPzqx

Perfectly positioned at the top of the village, overlooking the green. Would be wonderful on a summer's day. Accomodation: Not obvious that my room was no en suite on booking but I had the shared bathroom to myself. Food: Excellent value for money ... [more>]

This was a fairly decent little boozer. For real ale it was quite good as there were 5 ales available. Titanic, Wincle and Cross Bay beers plus a dull GK IPA. The pub is basically L-shaped and was friendly enough. I never really noticed the colour sc... [more>]

Called in to see if they had any of their own beers on and were lucky as Blue Bell Atlas was on along with a couple of other real ales. Pleasant pub with entry through a large built on area rather like a conservatory with seating and a hatch through ... [more>]

a very cosy and traditional locals local, always good ale and very popular with an older crowd. decor is a bit 'Gran's living room' but I don't mind.

probably the best 'pub' in Newquay, which isn't saying much. one big open plan room, but the beer garden is a nice little private oasis in the middle of town.

an above average JDW's, almost traditional by their standards. and they were flogging Greene King IPA at £1 a pint.

nice bar, but seemed to be struggling on a Saturday evening as I found myself drinking alone and only two of the hand pumps were operational. but still probably one of the best in Morecambe. |
