does absolutely nothing for me. majestic building and location... but ultimately it's a stately home selling overpriced food and beer to posers. there are enough good pubs in Lancaster to avoid this place... |

Formerly Silks Bar this is a subterranean tapas restaurant only open 6-12, Weds to Sat. No real ale. |

bland but fairly pleasant Thwaites suburban pub. always busy when sport is on the big TV. |
