Met at the door to do the Track & Trace necessities and then told to sit wherever we liked. One L shaped room with a variety of high tables, low tables and stools. A few in on our Monday lunchtime visit made for a pleasant atmosphere. 3 cask beers available and my pint from Navigation Brewery was in very good nick. Friendly staff and efficient service was a positive. I'd have happily stayed for another pint, but the Angel microbrewery just around the corner was calling. We'll definitely be calling in here again.

Good review by Alan below. I have been in here just once since it re-opened.
Decent pint and nice décor. Packed with ice hockey fans on my Saturday evening visit.
Nothing special, lots of better pubs in Nottingham.

When i first visited this pub it was called The Lord Nelson which was a John Smiths tied house.
Situated in the trendy Hockley area of the city centre,it attracted a more upmarket crowd than other pubs in the area.
Due to its location it was renamed to Image Bar,which was crap and eventually closed down.
The pub has now reopened and is now called Six Barrel Drafthouse.
Once inside there is a single L shaped room with the bar on the mid right side, the floor is bare boarded, there is comfy bench seating to the rear and a mix of tall tables and chairs and normal tables and chairs elsewhere.
There were six real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Castle Rock Harvest Pale, which was a very nice drink, the other real ales were Purity UBU,Shiny Affinity,Copper Dragon Golden Pippin,Theakston Black Bull Bitter and Adnams Broadside.
The service was friendly and the pub quite busy on my Saturday afternoon visit, background music was playing.
I quite liked my time in this pub and good to see it open again.
Lord Nelson first visited 1980

Revisited on 6/5/2017 with the wife and we both enjoyed our drinks in here.
We quite like this pub now it is opened up again and serving real ales.
Note: The spelling of this pubs name is wrong,it should be Six Barrel Drafthouse.
This is also duplicate of the original pub so should be deleted and merged into the original Image Bar entry
