Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Thomas Tallis Alehouse

Compact two-room alehouse, with surprisingly light decor but (still appropriate) furniture and decor. No counter, so just ask for your chosen beverage from the chalk board and it gets brought direct from the cellar. Westerham God's Wallop (£3.60) and Sail from the Ashford-based G2 Brewing were the cask beers that day, supplemented by 12 craft keg offerings. What really stood out from my first visit here on a winter's lunchtime was the friendly welcome as warm as the glow from the log fire in the side room.

A two roomed Tudor micropub with the cold room situated at the rear. You step down into the pub from the street and enter a small room where you can peruse the extensive beer board on the left hand wall. The pub offered a couple of cask ales, but the majority of the menu was on keg.
The young barman was pleasant and helpful and explained to us that the majority of their ales are on keg, as they will keep up to four weeks. We went for Tonbridge Brewery East Kent Capel Pale and East Kent Five Brewers Green Hop Collaboration, both from the cask, which were both excellent.
We were served our ales in the larger room, which had exposed black beams and a log burning fire, which was very inviting. The pub opened at 5pm on our Monday visit.

I turned up to this place with the owner on holiday and a stand in who was totally pleasant and friendly but didn't seem to have the authority or knowledge to deal with any problems so my score may not be what this place deserves.
As noted below it's an attractive old beamed building rather than the usual micropub shop conversion.
There were just two casks on but a whole raft of "Craft" keg. The two casks were Romney Marsh Mellow and Musket Matchlock Mild. I had to send the Marsh Mellow back as it was rank but the Mild was fine. Both were priced at £3.60 which is expensive for a micropub. The "Craft" keg were silly prices starting from £4.50. The few micropubs I've visited that serve "Craft" keg do it as an addition to a decent range of cask whereas this place seems to have things the other way round.
I doubt that I would return here.
