Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Orpington Liberal Club
Very well-run little place, housed in a rather plain house-like building between the station and town centre. Functional bar with various seating options; but, in normal times, most people tend to sit or stand conversing near the counter. However, with the current coronavirus restrictions, seating really is at a premium, although a take-out service is offered as well. Also has a small hall to one side (where regular live music events are held) and a basic beer garden to the rear. Numerous Camra awards won, and frequently Good Beer Guide listed, with beer festivals, 'meet the brewer' events, etc. being held on a regular basis. Always serves an excellent selection different beers in a range of styles (many 'Locale'), together with a variety of Turner's ciders, and on my latest visit there was a 'tap takeover' by Larkins (the small Kentish brewery still growing its own hops). Whatever your politics, the fact that it is a Liberal Club shouldn't put you off - it really is a worth a visit if you have a Camra card (up to 8 times a year before you are asked to join).

Blue Scrumpy left this review about Orpington Liberal Club
Our final stop on a crawl of South East London was this friendly Liberal club, where we were made to feel welcome.
Situated opposite a large supermarket, it is quite innocuous from the outside. Inside, there is a single room, with a garden at the rear.
Real ales were Canterbury The Reeves & The Merchant's, Brentwood Legacy, Spartan Hoplite & Goody Ales Good As Gold. Ciders were all from Turner's - Dry, Medium, Russet, Apple Pie, Elderflower & Rhubarb. I'd not had a couple of these before. So, they were the obvious choice for me.
The club has fairly limited opening hours, which are even more limited at present, due to the ongoing pandemic.
