Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Cricketers Knoll
I'm not sure if this pub is called the Cricketers or the Cricketer's Knoll these days. I'm also not sure where the name comes from, as it's on quite a hill. The neighbouring common also appeared hilly and not particularly suited to cricket.
The interior has been refurbished recently, giving plenty of seating. Quite a few were enjoying the sunshine on tables outside at the front too. The solitary real ale was 6X.
Not really worth the uphill walk from the town centre.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Cricketers
Quite a plain-looking building, located at the corner of the small Broomhill Common in the older part of Orpington. However, once inside, you find an inviting local with a staple-shaped bar and traditional furniture and decor. Also has a basic lounge to the rear and a tatty patio beer garden beyond. Several sports TV. Two of four handpumps in operation, offering 6X and Landlord (£3.70).
