not the greatest selection of beers, but this place is okay if a little unremarkable. quieter than the other pubs on Grassmarket.

Small one bar pub with wood panelled and stone walls and tiled stone floor at the very end of the Grassmarket.
Not the biggest internal space but when the weather is fine, the large glass front windows open completely and the internal space then merges with the external seating outside the pub on the Grassmarket giving it a much bigger feel.
The pub features free live music seven days a week and I caught a good acoustic act here whilst in town.
Good vibe to this one, but the let down was only one real ale handpump with the ubiquitous for this part of the world Deuchars IPA, which makes it one of the weakest ale offerings to be had in the many hostelries on the Grassmarket.
