another simple side street bar just off South bridge with folk musicians on. Some of who were performing a capella quite beautifully. Three real ales were on of which I tried the Jarl and Captains Ale. This is a lovely homely bar a world away from th... [more>] |

The building dates back to 1693 and was originally a house but in 1890 was the Prince of Wales pub which changed it's name in March that year to The Forth Bridge Hotel when the future King Edward the 7th opened the Forth Rail bridge.As i was walking ... [more>] |
