City Café is an American style bar and diner in décor and music choice. There is a pool table at the rear and downstairs is a comedy venue that is reached via a corridor and flight of stairs that is carpeted in old comedy flyers. Premium and craft keg is available, but this place is table service so no propping up the bar. I thought it was expensive, £3.50 for a latte in an old chipped mug. I imagine it feels more like a bar in the evenings, but in the day it is more a restaurant.
