The Reindeer is a decent sized pub that is an uphill walk from the town centre.
When i first visted this pub in 1982 it was a Mansfield tied house.
Once inside there is a square shaped bar to the right,this room is carpeted with bench seating to the right,there was a pool table to the front right and two dart boards to the rear right,there is a seperate lounge to the left,but i did'nt look in this room.
There were three unclipped pumps on the bar,i had a drink of Mansfield Smooth which was pretty poor but drinkable,there was also Mansfield Dark on keg.
This is a smart well kept pub,just a shame there were no real ales on the bar.
