Greene King pub with main room to the centre and also room to the left. The bar follows the rooms round. Five hand pumps of usual G/K ales. Two TVs.

Like this pub a lot. Very good tribute.

Just the correct anount of busyness on a Tuesday evening.

About as good as you will find in the area.

A formulaic TW outlet just off Oxford St at the Marble Arch end, there is in fact an old street sign of the same inside. L-shaped bar area with a stained boarded floor, chequered splash area around the bar. Up a step to a side room which is carpeted, The Royal Savoy Room, slogans on the walls and beams in here, some worth it, others not. The fire was lit on what was a warm day, yes it gives character and atmosphere but it was just too hot. Big on food, large menus abound but the beer selection was rather dull, Pride, Doom Bar, Tribute, Landlord and Westerham 1730 which seems to be now a TW standard branded beer. 10% Camra discount mellowed it a bit. Stack full of Middlesbrough fans for the following day's play off final. It was ok.
