Quinno _ left this review about The Links Tavern

Another CAMRA historic (regional) interior. It’s a pretty place with a lovely wood and glass bar back, lots of brewery mirrors, third length boxed wood panelling (with brass numbers going up to 10), dark blue and white cornice ceiling and a feature Mackinlays window. No cask so a fairly awful Williams Augustus Caesar had to do, it was musty – a surprise given the brewery and the general tidiness of the pub, surely it hadn’t gone to grot in keg?? Very quiet on my late lunchtime visit which was a shame. A friendly landlord in situ once he warmed up a bit, I guess he doesn’t see many Sassenachs in the pub. Worth the effort to sit and have a pint in. An ale would do wonders here...
