Description:
Bought myself a day explorer ticket and set off to visit a few new pubs that didn't have much info on Pubs Galore. All journeys can be undertaken on the Number 8 bus that runs from Mount vernon Hospital in Northwood, through Watford and ending up in Abbots Langley.

The Royal Oak (1)
	Get off bus in the High Street and walk down to find this nice old pub set behind a nice village green

The Boys Home (2)
	Walk back up High Street to find this tiny pub opposite the picturesque church.

The Compasses (3)
	Catch bus opposite the Boys Home and after a couple of minutes you'll see the Compasses at the bottom of Tibbs Lane.

	Turn right after exiting the Compasses, walk to the roundabout and turn left into College Road and you'll soon see The Swan.

	Back to bus stop opposite the Compasses, when you turn into Sheepcot Lane in Leavesden get off at Queenswood Crescent stop. Walk up Valley Rise then go left into Ganders Ash to find the Hammer in Hand
