Walnut Tree, York

This is a very large pub which has a very big garden at the side of it. I went in the room at the front i think there is also a smaller lounge at the rear,the largish room at the front was quite smart and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Roosters Yankee and this was quite nice there was also Black Sheep Special and John Smiths cask they were also doing Sunday dinners. I thought was a decent pub and was quite happy in here.

excellent pub with good beer and good food,far enough out of york to be free of tourist ,but only 10 mins on the frequent bus service.Quiz nights.a bit scruffy on my last visit with dim lighting.
