The Sherwood Manor, Nottingham

The Sherwood Manor is a large pub that is situated up the hill from the middle of Sherwood on the corner of mansfield road and edwards lane. I have been in this pub several times,on my first visit it was a Whitbread Beefeater pub then Kimberley brewery took it over and it is now a Greene King Hungry Horse branded pub. Once inside there is a large L shaped room with the bar facing,the room is carpeted throughout and had mainly normal tables and chairs,there was a pool table to the rear and there were leather settees and tall tables and chairs in this area. There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of GK IPA which was fairly cheap at £2.60 a pint,this drink was ok,the other beer was GK Abbot. The pub was fairly busy on my Tuesday afternoon visit with most people drinking,i was surprised that this place had more of a pub atmosphere to it than i thought it would have.
