The Horn in Hand, Nottingham

When i first went in this pub in the early 80s it was called the Spread Eagle and it was a Bass tied house. The Horn in Hand is situated very close to Nottingham Trent university so it gets a good crowd of students in. Once inside the pub has got a single room that is square shaped,the bar is on the left side and there is a mixture of seating types with leather settees and normal tables and chairs the pub is part bare boarded and the rest is carpeted. There were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Blue Monkey BG Sips which was a very nice drink the other beer was Burton Bridge Channel Swimmer. The pub was fairly busy with mainly student types on my late afternoon visit and i thought the pub had a nice laid back atmosphere,there was also some decent music playing which always keeps me happy. I quite enjoyed my time in here. Pub visited 30/8/2012
