Alan Winfield left this review about Highbury Vale
The Highbury Vale was a large three storey stand alone pub that was on the main road going south towards Nottingham city centre.
Once inside there were a couple of rooms and the lounge was fairly smart and comfortable.
The pub was a Whitbread tied house and there were only Whitbread keg beers on here.
This pub was was ok for a quick drink but there were a lot better pubs in the middle of bulwell.
The pub is still standing but it has been converted into flats making this yet another Nottingham pub to close down.
