Friday/Saturday nights are Karaoke nights. Friday with Tommy Savva, Saturday with the brothers Grimm. Friday nights are highly recommended. They serve food throughout the day. Karaoke nights can be troublesome at times as it has the reputation of being an easy pick up bar for both sexes, which observations confirm. There can be drunken fools to spoil a good night out, which can lead to skirmishes and fights breaking out.
The door staff do try and sort out any problems, but don't usually react until it is too late. Anybody under the influence who is being threatening or abusive are allowed to stay and get served.
Single males/females if you are looking for a one off date then this is the place. Married couples or partnerships BEWARE.

Friday nights, karaoke/disco night with Tommy. Excellent entertainer. Very lively. However be warned this pub has a bit of a reputation for being a pick up joint and their are some drunken idiots, which can be said for a lot of places, but it is open at the weekend until 2am.
