The George
Bridgnorth
WV16 4AX

Large detached pub, in cream render, recently refurbished and named after George I for some reason and formerly the Hollyhead Inn.
The interior is modern and yellow in decor, with wood beams, a nice fire place and some carved wood panel and tables. The seating has plenty of comfy chairs around. The music was easy listening and a decent level, service was fine, but there was nobody else in.
Beer, usual tap stuff with Cocker Hoop, Crag Rat, Banks's Bitter and MILD on handpull. The MILD was fine.
It seems the place has try to re-invent itself and so i wish them well. Beer choice is fine, just the interior isnt to my personal taste.
