Title: A crawl in my home town of beeston
Creator: Mark Davey

Description:
A circular walking mini crawl of some of the better drinking establishments in Beeston. Starting at the Hop Pole simply because that is the pub nearest to where I live. despite being only 6+1 pubs long, there is ample opportunity to play jokers in the Crown and the Victoria so this could easily be an all day fest. Big food is available at the last Post and the Victoria, bar snacks being available at most of the rest. transport to Beeston is easy with the bus station being in the middle of the crawl and the railway station being close to the Victoria. There are many other pubs in the locality and you will pass within about 10 more on this crawl, so lots of scope to go off map.

The Hop Pole (1)
Back in for last orders, might even catch some live music.
The Last Post (JD Wetherspoon) (2)
Usual Spoons with half a dozen brews, sometimes a real gem on the bar. Close proximity to Beeston Bus station.
The Malt Shovel (3)
Nottingham brewery and other real ales always on tap. No public transport but easy walk to the bus station or the far end of Beeston to pick up the 36 and Y36.
The Star Inn (4)
Only included for sentimental reasons. Beer choice is limited. Great proximity to Beeston Bus station. From a historc point of view, this pub was used to shoot the pub scenes of Auf Wiedersehen, Pet series 2. Pretending to be Wolverhampton.
The Victoria Hotel (5)
12+ Real ales always available plus massive wine and whisky collection. Excellent proximity to Beeston National Rail Station and the Trent Barton 18 bus route.
Crown Inn (6)
Upto 8 real ales available. 36, Y36, 18, 14 and Indigo bus stop right outside.
The Hop Pole (7)
Castle rock and other real ales usually on the bar. Bus stop outside on the NCT36, Indigo, 18, 14 & Y36 Routes also soon to be on the chilwell tram route.
