Ian Mapp left this review about The Barrel Store

Latest arrival on the Birmingham drinking scene. This is under a railway arch - which probably explains why I didnt take an external photo - and is used as a space for Attic's barrel aging. A long rack, four high, with wooden casks doing their thing over time.

Of course, with the space, they have introduced a bar at the end - with Bench Seating. The range of their beers (and others) was impressive but a soulless atmosphere (few other punters not helping) and with not much else to look at, apart from barrels.

Their Tap Room at Bournville was far more impressive.

Would no doubt me better when with more punters.
