Will Larter left this review about Kirkstall Tap & Kitchen
Kirkstall Tap & Kitchen is in the right hand side of the brewery building, which is about midway between Yorkshire TV's studios and the fire station. The large space is split between the bar at the back, with some pub-like features, and an area at the front with numerous tables and a view of the car park and busy Kirkstall Road. There is much use of breweriana and what I assume are recycled pub fittings, including some chandeliers that distract somewhat from the industrial ceilings.
The wood-panelled bar counter has half a dozen hand pumps with four Kirkstall beers and two guests (on this occasion Full Fathom Five from North Brewing Co, and Five Points Best – made with fuggles). In addition there were 12 keg taps, mostly pouring Kirkstall beers. Prices seemed to be the same as at their Cardigan Arms a mile further along - Kirkstall Pale is just £3.20 a pint and Black Band porter £3.80. (No wonder so many Londoners are moving to Leeds.) Pizzas are available but I limited myself to just a beer, and very good it was too.
