A smashing little place hidden of the main drags. From the outside it looks like its a converted lock-up garage but once inside it is a comfortable, friendly pub with a social club feel. To the rear is a full size snooker table. The place is one room with a small lounge-like area to the front and another seating area beyond that leading to said snooker table. Various footbal club memorabilia and Irish themed pictures adorn the wall, though the place isn't overtly Irish. One handpump on the bar dispensed Hartley's Cumbria Way. I liked this place.
