One room with bar to right rear. Four real ales of decent strength - also six kegs. Quite full inside and outside - worth a revisit.

Handily located opposite Beeston's Sainsbury's, this is a typical micropub with a music based decor including guitar shaped clocks, guitars, old vinyl records and a picture of the Beatles on the door leading upstairs. The low table, chairs and rocking chair at the front has been added to with a makeshift stool made by adding an upholstered cover to a cask. There is a room upstairs that is currently used for storing casks and where the toilets are. A few selected spirits are now also sold as well as the usual cider and beer. Four beers were available Slightly Foxed Urban Fox, Charnwood Old School, True North Blonde and Full Mash Dr Gilly's something or other. I went for the Charnwood Old School(£3.30 after 10p Discount) which was in first class condition.
I thought this was another good micropub.

The Pottle of Blues is a micro pub that is situated just off the high street and close to Sainsburys.
Once inside there is a small oblong shaped room which is carpeted, the seating is high wood bench seats on either side of the room and tall chairs and stools, there is one normal table and chairs to the front, there is a small bar to the rear right but there are no pumps on it,the chalkboard to the left listed the four real ales on and the four real ciders,i had a drink of Blue Monkey BG Sips which was as usual on top form, the other real ales were Dancing Duck Waddle it be,Leatherbritchers The Bounder and one from North Star, beers are served from the back and brought to the bar.
The pub was reasonably busy on my Saturday dinner visit.
No music and i got no conversation,my wife dislikes these micro pubs so i will not be taking her to it.
As far as micro pubs go i thought this was decent enough but not a pub i could settle in for a few.
