Clearly an old place, with plenty of beams on show inside. Seating is varied, and includes an old leather sofa or two.
At the bar, there were a couple of beers on handpump, as well as strong support for new local micro 'Time & Tide' on keykeg. I opted for the weaker of the 2 ales but could have done better: there were 3 minipins of local ale perched behind the bar as well.
Worth a look-in if you're a tourist or local.
