Popular arty farty place that sells crafty-like beers and 2 real ales. A large room with long bench tables and chairs and some seating upstairs. A, I assume, large selection of teas for sale. Very foody and a little bit up its own backside.

This is a modern bar/restaurant in an area of Liverpool that seems to specialise in vintage clothing and vintage items.

The bar is open plan, and spills over two floors. It has a glass frontage.

The upper floor is vast and where the toilets are situated. It has its own bar, which was closed during the afternoon of my visit.

The ground floor is smaller, with a bar. It also has a stage with speakers. As the place is open till midnight during the week and two in the morning at weekends, I assume it becomes a 'nightclub' at night. Or alternatively, it could be a cosy music venue - I couldn't tell. It seems to play host to a number of community events.

The bar has lagers and cider, though no Carling or Carlsberg was evident - more like continental lagers. There is also one real ale which, I was told, changes weekly. On my visit, it was a very tasty Island Brewery Wight Gold.

The staff were very friendly and efficient.

Both Mrs Staal and I ate a meal here and we were very impressed.

I liked the atmosphere in this place. Very relaxed. I would return.
