A detached Victorian banks's pub with a rear patio area. The pub is totally in white render, now looking a bit tired. It has little on it to identify it as a pub from the front. The interior has a small room that i saw, in white with a red tile floor. There are a few tables by the bar and a few more over by a nice stone fireplace, where the seating is black cloth covered perimeter and stools. There are a couple of TVs that had sport on and the music was bangra - played a bit too loud to be fair. A few mixed pictures were on the walls. The service was really friendly as were the mixed group of locals that were in. Beer; no real ale, usual keg stuff with M&B MILD (ok) and Banks's MILD that was really good. This was a friendly place, what let it down was the awful state of the decor (damp/mould). Sort that, and i would happily pop in for one.
