Old Blue left this review about The Skiving Scholar
Student pub with interior painted red, green, and black, with apparently random objects stuck to or hanging from the ceiling. It has a main room with steps in the corner down to a basement bar, and a large statue of Jesus above the steps for reasons I couldn't fathom. It doesn't serve real ale - I paid £1.50 for a half of Strongbow.
