Backstreet club, which welcomes CAMRA visitors (I proffered my card at the bar but the friendly mature lady barkeep waved it away!) and is GBG’23 listed. A very red and white interior, felt almost like an American diner at times. Dart board spotted. Quiet place, with a couple of codgers in situ until a bunch of Plymouth fans turned-up for a few pre-match liveners. Five pumps with a sensible two cask in Bays Topsail and a quality Dartmoor Legend (NBSS 4) plus Countryman Farm Scrumpy Medium cider. Whilst it takes a bit of finding, I’d say it’s worth popping by if you have time in your itinerary, beer is good and it feels a bit different to the norm.
