Four hand pumps on the bar make a welcome sight on entering this lively community local. On our Friday evening visit these were all on, with Brains British Summer, Abbeydale Moonshine, Bradfield Farmers Blonde and Tetleys Bitter. There are display cases of Blades and Owls football shirts. It was friendly and pleasant at the time of our visit, but there's a notice banning caps and hoods for the purpose of making CCTV pictures identifiable, which suggests a history of trouble at other times. We got a very pleasant farewell on returning our glasses to the bar, so we wouldn't rule out coming here again.

This is a decent looking pub that is in a quiet area of woodseats.
once inside here i went in a lounge type room that was quite comfortable.
There wer two real ale on the bar i had a drink of GK IPA which was bland has usuall the other beer was GK Abbot.
