Strongers . left this review about The Duke Of Cambridge
The Glass frontage of the Duke of Cambridge doesn’t look the most inviting, in fact I initially thought it was an abandoned shop. The inside is better than the outside suggests, but it has a student bar feel. Seating runs across the front windows and the bar counter up the right faces a couple of high tables along the opposite wall. At the rear is a sunken section with a booth to the right and seating to the left. Out the back is a paved seating area. Premium keg was available from the bar which also supports three hand pumps that were drawing GK IPA alongside a couple of Lilley’s ciders, students love cider! The service was friendly, but there’s not much to the place and the competition from its peers is high so a return visit isn’t going to happen.

Yet nnother Greene King Pub. On the plus side it sells draught Staropramen, on the downside there never seems to be anyone on the bar. On several occasions I have been in, waited 10 minutes for someone to appear and serve me, and then left in resignation. The Tram Depot next door is a better bet.
