The Welch Fusilier (or Fusiliers if you go by the pub hanging sign) has the feel of a Wetherspoons, well at least it did when I visited early on a recent midweek evening. The interior is open plan, although it feels like three sections with pool and darts in the left, the bar counter on the rear wall in the middle and quieter seating to the right. There are televisions for showing Sky Sports, but nothing was on so some background music was playing. Two unused handpumps accompany the standard and premium keg available from the bar. There was a reasonable sized crowd considering the time, but I wouldn’t return.

A pleasant comfortable old pub with a central "island" bar. Well used, mainly by older clientele. Real Ales removed two years ago because most of the locals prefer lager! The two screens had music videos on but not too loud.

A good locals local. Could do with a clean up but its a good pub. Various age groups mixed together. Full of John McCriricks during the day trying to figure out how their horse never won.
