Large open space and a bit souless. Ok beer though

The ultimate stereotype Spoons. Whilst the exterior looks lovely, the layout is a big oblong high-ceilinged room, akin to a soulless battery farm, presumably to produce vast amounts of urine for Timbo to stockpile post Brexit for ammonia. There’s a jumbo drop-down screen which dominated the pub, showing a second tier footy match with nobody watching. Three guest ales which is the same as the other non-Lloyds Spoons in town, maybe that tells us something. The bright spot in an otherwise ghastly affair was that my pint of Weetwood was really good (NBSS 4).

This is the only JDW in North Wales that still charges less than two quid for a standard guest ale. As mentioned below it's a fairly typical bank conversion and is still a Lloyds as confirmed by outside signage, landscape printed menus and speakers but I didn't spot any light rigs.
It's a large high square room with typical JDW furnishings and there's not much else to be said about it. It seemed to be doing a fair trade on my Wednesday Afternoon visit.
There are only five hand pumps which had one unused, GK Abbot, Doom Bore, Celt Experience Galaxy Equinox and Purple Moose Glaslyn. I went for the Glaslyn (£1.95) which was in good nick.
Given the recent closures by JDW you have to wonder if this one has a future as it has all the credentials that many of the closures have. I thought it was OK as the beer choice in the other Wrexham JDW wasn't that much better.
