Friendly single room pub , now with 12 handpulls , 10 for ale and 2 for cider , rammed at 12.30 on a Tuesday lunchtime with mostly older drinkers .
Still worth a visit .

The best pub in Frodsham for real ale fans by a country mile. It's a very small one roomer with a raised area with some seating at the rear. There are 8 handpumps serving Weetwood Best Bitter and 7 changing guests, plus a real cider. It gets absolutely packed at weekends and it's pretty full in midweek from about 9 onwards. The walls are covered with all sorts of pictures and posters. It's a really friendly place and the staff try their best to serve in turn and are pretty efficient, but it just gets so packed. I still love it though and visit here every time we're in Frodsham.
