Gillingham's newest pub may well be its blandest. A Brewer's Fayre house on a new commercial park, the HP also provides a much-needed local for those people who previously used the Sportsman or the Royal Engineer, both now gone, but does not provide the full range of pub facilities they previously enjoyed (darts, sports clubs etc). Its position on the A2 means it gets mostly passign trade, however. No real ale, fake fireplaces, plastic food and staff with no real interest in the job makes it a real 21st Century McPub, and I see no reason to come here again.
