Alan Winfield left this review about The Thorncliffe Arms

The Thorncliffe Arms is very close to the Miners Arms.
Once inside this pub had two rooms, the main bar was at the front this room was carpeted and had comfy bench seating with stools, there was a dining area to the rear of this room and there was a seperate pool room to the right, there was music playing at a decent volume.
There was one real ale on the bar this was Taylor Landlord and this tasted slightly off but it was drinkable.
I was the only customer in here at around 2.45.
