An end terraced brick build.

The interior has a main bar and a function room. The decor was white and red, with wood floor and wicker chairs. There was a TV in the corner, showing the Villa match, sadly a portly gentleman insisted on offering his own narration to the match, which even as a Villa fan myself, I found annoying. The service was fine, while the clientele seemed to enjoy the portly man's entertainment.

I have attached a link to the website for this place - it says - Bar NV is Walsall's only Champagne Bar. Open since Wednesday 7th September 2005, it has seen a fantastic, long awaited welcoming from Walsall's social elite. After all serving a comprehensive range of Champagne, Beer, Wine and Liqueur, and with a full Food menu available, why wouldn't it be?

Well, i think the place has changed hands. Who are Walsall's social elite?, or even that of Bloxwich. A full range of beer obviously means keg fizz and bland bitter - there is no real ale. The Guinness was fine though.

It isn't the kind of place where you look through the misty windows NVious of those inside, supping cocktails. The R1 Bar just has a sign up saying no hoods or caps!
