A one roomed pub but with two distinct halves. The left hand side has some lounge style seating and a small stage. The right hand side has a pool table and a dartboard along with 2 big screens and is more of a tap room. There's a very pleasant beer garden to the rear up a few steps. Specialises in live bands on Wednesday, Friday & Sunday. Three handpumps on the bar, but all badged with Thwaites Wainwright on my visit. It was a decent pint though.

The Stone Jug is a small pub that is fairly close to the town centre.
This pub was fairly basic and was more of a locals pub and there were no real ales on here with the only bitter being keg Bass.
