Another micro; another shop conversion, a square room with L shaped counter in the right
hand corner. Three pulls with local brews, one more had a fez on top. It’s got seating around the outside edges at traditional tables & chairs with a couple of taller ones. There’s a snug at the back near the toilets. Friendly locals and staff. By the way the sign says Crafty Pint, the GBG says Cracking Pint so I guess this is a recent change back to its old name.

A really good micropub in a former shop unit and run by an ale enthusiast. No machines, flatscreens nor muzak but there was a musty smell inside .There are traditional tables arranged around the bar which was in the right corner and up a step is a small rear seating area .
Three ales offered on my trip that meant Lancaster Mosaic,Salopian Shropshire Gold and Golden Thread on NBSS 4.5 form.It rattled past the three pint test.
On not to miss out on if in Staly.

We arrived at two minutes to 4 and asked the guy setting up the bar if we could come in as they open at 4. He said we would have to wait until the owner arrived, I told him it was wind and rain outside, so he let us in. There were two ales on handpump, both of which were quite mainstream. The owner did arrive at 4.10 and hastened to put two more beers on, which were Cross Bay Vesper and Rat Brewery White Rat. We went for the Cross Bay which was excellent. The owner is a likable sort of chap and apologised for his late arrival. So yes I would call again.
