Busiest pub of the day but managed to get a seat and enjoyed the real ale on offer but forgot to write down what it was! Would return.

Update: Despite the comment in my previous review I did find myself back in the other weekend, primarily becuuse the beer choice has improved somewhat from the previous time I was in. Now four pumps regularily on the go and, although largely the usual suspects of Pride, Youngs and Sptfire, the fourth was Woodford Wherry which was a well kept pint.
17th December 2009:
The Blue Posts is a decent looking old fashioned pub just of Piccadilly behind the Ritz.
Wooden floored ground floor bar with a dining room on the first floor. Also has a large awning on the Arlington Street side for outside drinking.
Busy with the after work crowd at the time of my visit so a decent atmosphere. Only Pride and Adnams Broadside on and the Adnams was perfectly fine.
As said this is a decent enough, but largely unremarkable city pub. And more than OK if you do not want to venture far from Piccadilly for a pint.
But cannot see myself bothering again, especially with the more superior pair of ‘Lions' and The Chequers a short stroll around the corner.
