A fine little Wetherspoons just off one of the main drags. A smallish room with the raised area to the left particularly busy for a Thursday afternoon. 12 handpumps on the bar and a reasonable choice of beers. A nice Wethers to have a drink in.

This is an old school JDW dating from 1998. It's set just off the main road on a town square. It's a smallish room with the bar on the right, a raised area on the left and an eating area at the rear. Most people seemed to be in for an after work drink.
There are two sets of six hand pumps which had the two GK beers, two available soon, Naylor's Dusk, Martha's Milk Stout & Old Ale, Moorhouse Pendle & Blond Witch, Rudgate Minstrel & Jorvik, and Phoenix Wobbly Bob. I had a bargain Curry Club at £5.49 which included a Wobbly Bob. The curry was fine but the Wobbly Bob was not entirely clear but tasted OK.
All in all I thought this was a good Spoons.

Still a good little JDW. A good selection of ale on the bar again and efficient service. No changes to the decor really, but it does look like it's had a bit of a spruce up.

Very good small JDW right in the centre of the Bolton "Bar Street". There's standard JDW decor around the place with a good looking raised conservatory type area to the rear left with booths. 13 different ales on the bar with only 1 coming soon. Both the beers I had were in good condition. I'll certainly call in here again.
