Bucking Fastard left this review about The Roebuck

Traditional pub exterior and a refurbed interior which still retains various sections despite an overall open plan layout. To the right is a snug style section with leather upholstered banquettes, while at the rear there is a room with 2 pool tables.A few high tables exist near the bar, while there is an outside patio under an awning but sadly close to the kitchen ventilation system so you will be aware of the deep fat fryer.
The bar has 6 handpumps offering on my trip Black Sheep Holy Grail,Kelham Island Night Shift,Sheffield Crucible Best,Bradfields Farmers Wimbulldon, and Roosters Star & Stripes in decent nick.
Worth popping in if crawling the area, maybe not quiet enough to justify spending much longer inside or out.

Will Larter left this review about The Roebuck

Following my review of more than six years ago I did come back once or twice but found the beers brewed specifically for the pub to be uninspiring. The pub seems to be in different hands now, or at least the beer quality has improved. Instead of national brands mingled with home brews, they now have half a dozen beers from half a dozen Yorkshire breweries. My half of Naylors Doosra was very good, reflecting credit on both the brewer and the cellarman. Quite pricey though, at £1.85 for a half. Still, I wouldn't mind popping back some time to see what else is on.

Al Bundy left this review about Roebuck Tavern

It looks like this place has been modernised though the seating and tables suggest otherwise. Open plan with various areas to sit. 6 handpumps on the bar but only 3 on today.
