Alan Winfield left this review about The Barley Mow
The Barley Mow is a decent enough looking pub which has quite a long frontage.
Once inside there is a large lounge to the left which is irregular shaped, the seating is mainly normal tables and chairs, plus a few tall ones and a half circular bench seat, the room is carpeted.
There are three unused pumps on the bar,so this left me with John Smiths smooth crap to drink, this was a crap drink.
There is a separate bar room to the right which is also a decent size, the room is oblong shaped and runs to the rear, the seating is bench type, there is a pool table to the rear.
The pub does food and was fairly busy on my late Saturday afternoon visit with both drinkers and diners.
Decent background music was playing,TVs were showing horse racing.
Not a bad pub, just a shame there are no real ales on the bar.
