This is a terraced three-storey building housing a sports bar on the ground floor. The magic of the exterior cannot be assuaged by the signs on the windows saying buy 10 drinks and get 1 free. It is a nice Georgian styled white rendered building with black paintwork around the door and windows (one of which is a bay). It has a moulded string course and a dog-tooth cornice.

The interior is a straight room in half red and half cream walls, with a white cornice, coffee coloured ceiling and wood floor. There is a small tiled fireplace at one end. The walls are festooned with various sporting pictures, footy shirts and mirrors and just in case that didn't satisfy the testosterone, a few pictures of young 'tot' singers are there too. There is red leather perimeter seating. There are of course the usual host of TVs knocking out Sky Sports News and the background music was general and at a decent level. The service was fine and there was no other clientele at my visit.

Beer; no real ale, so all tap stuff and no MILD. I had a coke.

The place is what it is - a sports bar and i hope it does well for the clientele it aims to attract. Still, a nice exterior and the odd touch of the former pub made the coke worth while.
